Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was initiated by the late president HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and is one of Abu Dhabi’s most revered architectural treasures. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, is seen as a construction to ‘unite the world’, using artisans and materials from countries as diverse as Italy, Germany, Morocco, India, Turkey, Iran, China, Greece and the UAE. Equivalent to the size of five football fields, the mosque can accommodate over 40,000 worshippers. The Mosque is open to visitors and guided tours are available free of charge.

Manarat Al Saadiyat
Manarat Al Saadiyat, which means ‘place of enlightenment’, is an allencompassing historical, cultural and artistic enclave that brings to life the vision behind Saadiyat and its future plans. The island will become the only place in the world to house architecture designed by five individual Pritzker prize winners, including the Louvre, Guggenheim, National and Maritime museums as well as the Performing Arts Centre.
